Victoria Kimani: The Kenyan Songstress

Victoria Kimani, born on July 28, 1985, is a Kenyan singer, songwriter, and entertainer previously signed to the Nigerian record label Chocolate City.

Life and Career

Kimani’s journey began with backing vocals for Mercy Myra before pursuing music full-time. She signed with Chocolate City in late 2012, releasing her first single, “Mtoto,” in 2013.

In 2015, Kimani collaborated with African female musicians to create “Strong Girl” under the One Campaign. She released her album “Safari” in December 2017, featuring artists like Sarkodie and Ice Prince.

In a radio interview in December 2017, Kimani announced that her contract with Chocolate City had expired, deciding to pursue her career as an independent artist.
