Remilekun Khalid Safaru, popularly known as Reminisce or Alaga Ibile, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor. Born on January 26, 1981, in Kaduna, he hails from Ajilete, Yewa South LGA, Ogun State. Known for his bilingual musical style, blending English and Yoruba, Reminisce has become a significant figure in Nigerian hip-hop and Afrobeats.
Raised in Northern Nigeria, Reminisce was inspired by various music genres during his school days. Though he recorded his first rap album in 2006, it wasn’t until 2008 that he officially re-entered the music scene, debuting with “Ever Since” featuring 9ice.
